Tenant Fees
As well as paying rent, as agreed (usually quarterly or monthly in advance), you will also have to pay the following:
Before you move in
Refundable Holding Deposit – One week’s worth of rent (to be refunded upon check in)
Refundable Tenancy Deposit – Capped at no more than five week’s rent where the annual rent is less than £50,000 or 6 weeks’ where the total rent is £50,000 or above.
During your tenancy
Payments to change the tenancy – Where requested by yourself / yourselves as the tenant(s) to change aspects of the tenancy agreement and conditions (if applicable) capped at £50 inclusive of VAT.
Early termination of the tenancy – Where requested by yourself / yourselves as the tenant(s) capped at £50 inclusive of VAT.
Other fees
Default fee for late payment of rent – Interest at 3% above Bank of England base rate from date due and applies to rent which is more than 14 days overdue
Replacement of lost key/security devices – As per cost of getting keys and/or devices cut / replaced
